Could there be a better start to the weekend than a freshly ground latte, slice of something naughty and hands polished to perfection?
London Grace, a nail bar complete with coffee, cake, and cocktails, has turned the simple manicure into a social occasion. Located on Putney High Street, this little place is a post-rugby sevens retreat, a well-deserved after-work girls’ date night and a lazy Sunday morning treat.
London Grace has just celebrated its first birthday, picking up multiple awards on the way. Time to pop in for a polish.
There is always an occasion for bubbles, but there are a few other carefully considered things about London Grace, beyond it’s bar, that make it unique.
Firstly, manicure use their own line of polishes. These come in an array of covetable colours and, whatsmore, are free from the usual chemical nasties.
Two shades in the collection, ‘Oxford’ and ‘Cambridge’, are a nod to the annual boat race that starts locally. Add to this London-sourced coffee, creative baristas (check out their coffee art on Instagram), and technicians that don’t mind giving you a quick cuticle tutorial (thanks Andrea!) and you can’t help but love the whole concept.
If you’re planning a girlie get together, the “Grace Space” private room can be hired for afternoon teas, bridal parties, birthdays, etc.
Psst… Rumour also has it that a second London Grace is due to open in neighbouring Clapham later this year, and Marble Arch to follow… Watch this space!
