The Beauty Edit | Coachella

It’s the final weekend of Coachella and whilst not-so-sunny London definitely has the rest of us California dreaming, the LA fashion pack have inspired a few beauty picks worthy of the desert climes of Palm Springs…

Think vibrant bursts of orange, sun-kissed skin with a polished, glowy finish. Complete the look with a oversized floppy hat and Martini glass in hand…

(Clockwise from top left)

Vanity case: House of Hackney, Palmeral print. This Shoreditch-based gem has the most beautiful homeware and bold-print accessories.

Nail polish: Essie, Meet me at Sunset. Nothing comes close to this fiery orange. Avoid the 80’s throwback look with an up-to-date, short “squoval”.

Drink stirrers: Sunny Life. Well, if the cocktail fits…

Highlighter: Hourglass, Ambient Lighting Palette in Dim Light, Incandescent Light and Radiant Light. Three shades of shimmering champagne (and a very satisfying ‘click’ close). Hourglass has its roots in Venice, California so you can be sure of it’s SoCal seal of approval.

Lipstick: Chanel, Rouge Allure in Excentrique. This satin finish lipstick needs no introduction. Excentrique orange complements any tan.

Blush: MAC satin powder blush in Modern Mandarin. A sheer dusting of this on the apples of the cheeks ties in a strong lip for a fresh flush of colour.

Foundation: Nars, Sheer Glow in Barcelona. Beauty fans have long praised the natural finish of this foundation. Apply with a brush for an ‘airbrushed’ glow.

Lip balm: Kiehl’s, Balm #1. A cult product, and for good reason. Nourished, soft lips, all year round.

Now, did someone say Mimosa…?
