The Beauty Edit | Greek Island Hopping

Channel your inner Aphrodite, goddess of beauty, with these Greek Island Hopping inspired beauty bits.

Shower gel: Korres, Santorini Vine. Made from the Assyrtiko grape variety native to the most famous of the Cyclades islands. This is one of those delicious-smelling products you’ll be tempted to taste… (If you’re conscious about the ingredients that go into your beauty kit, you’ll be pleased by the natural contents, and general ethos, of Athens-based Korres).

Perfume: Marc Jacobs, Daisy Dream. Light, fresh, and youthful. This is summer carefree in a spritz.

Blot Sheets: MAC, Blot Film. Rids of that midday oil slick in the height of Summer, keeping the rest of your make-up perfectly in place.

Mascara: Lancôme, Hypnôse in black. It’s fanbase are long-time fan girls and a quick sweep of Hypnôse on its own will give you pretty, fluttery lashes.

Nail polish: London Grace, Grace. This is the signature shade of the London-based nail bar and also reminiscent of the famous blue domed terraces of Oia, Santorini.

Highlighter: MAC, Mineralize Skinfinish, Global Glow. A light touch of this on the high points of the face will just catch the Grecian sunlight.

Foundation: Lancôme, Teint Idole Ultra 24H, Shade 04. Oil-free and medium coverage to withstand a day’s exploring. SPF 15 also ensures some protection from strong rays.

Lip balm: Korres, Lip Butter, Mango. A nourishing and light tint to the lips. A pop of sheer colour without the fuss of lipstick. As you might expect, it also smells divine.
