Style Diary | Styling Soft Winter Greys

When it comes to winter dressing, the temperature drop makes for the perfect season to layer up and play with texture. From cosy cashmere and fine wools, to silks and suedes, these are a few current pieces to see you through the colder months; all in the softest shades of grey.

Coat: Jaeger wool oversized coat. The masculine ‘boyfriend’ fit and boxy double breasted detailing of this jacket is softened by a touch of cashmere. Paired here with a nude silk blouse from Club Monaco.

Boots: Zara elastic split suede ankle boots. The block heel on these will comfortably see you through the day, and rest of winter. Frayed hem, mid-rise jeans also from Zara.

Ballet pumps: Michael Kors ‘Gloria’ pumps. Transitional and forever chic, the ballet flats to slip into before the weather gets too nippy!

Handbag: Prada medium saffiano tote in Cameo. Blush pink, structured, and a “hold everything” kind of bag – including gloves, scarf and trusty umbrella.

Nails: (From left) Essie polish in FijiSand Tropez, and Allure. The finishing touch!

What are your favourite pieces for winter?
