Late summer in London often brings with it the chance of just a few more hazy days. What better excuse, then, for a leisurely Indian Summer picnic, complete with boating lake, bandstand, and bunting?
Taking our chances on the weather (it is London, after all), fellow blogger Lelanie (@LelanieMulder) and I set about to co-host the first London Bloggers Picnic in picturesque Regents Park. Thankfully, the sun came out to play!
With a guest list of social media types (and a teacup Maltese), this picnic had to be Insta-worthy. We were always going to be in good hands, though, with Lelanie’s floristry skills – only matched, by the way, by her ability to source shades of picnic-rug-purple blooms at New Covent Garden market in the early hours!
Our photographer, Alexandra (@ksana881), was there to capture the afternoon’s events beautifully. So, with that in mind, please find a comfortable spot on our blanket and join us, won’t you?
A huge thank you to all of our generous sponsors that made the day possible; from getting us there, to putting on a beautiful spread of organic goodies and sweet treats, and ensuring drinks were kept topped up. For also making sure that our pretty picnic spot was made all the more so with picture-perfect party décor, and inspiring us to get creative with our photography – the evidence of which can be found using #LondonBloggersPicnic.
