Eating in: The new going out

The modern dinner party: less prawn cocktail, more hummus. And probably punctuated with the pleasing pop of Prosecco. However, if the idea of cooking for a crowd fills you with dread (or, frankly, you don’t want the hassle), there is an alternative.

Enter the at-home chef. (Yes, this exists). You choose the menu and Chef whips up a culinary storm in your kitchen, whilst you attentively mingle with guests / top up glasses. And the best bit? Chef will even wash up at the end of the evening. Dream.

La Belle Assiette sent over Chef Leo for a little birthday celebration (the perfect January antidote) and the heart of a top city restaurant was temporarily drop-pinned into one home kitchen of SW London…

Pull up a seat and join us, won’t you?

And if you fancy trying your hand at the star of the show…
